                                                      (9/14/1989)
                   Republiwimps and Demobrats
                     rated by Left and Right:
the Seniles and the House of Ill Repute

(Source: Extracted from table in HUMAN EVENTS, 9/2/1989)

Following is a list of congressmen's and senators' ratings
as given by the ultra-liberal Americans for Democratic Action and
the American Conservative Union, both for 1988.
The listing goes NAME ADA/ACU: For example, "Turkey 7/98"
means that Mr Turkey's quality was rated 98% by the ADA, but only
7% by the ACU, based on certain key votes rated in opposite ways
by the Left and Right. High second number means Leftist, high
first number means good guy; roughly equal numbers means
waffling jellyfish.
Names in upper case denote Republiwimps, lower case mean
Demobrats.

[Last man on the list, Wallop, is the only one among this rabble
that I fully trust. Even good old Jesse Helms is in with the
Tobacco industry and fights for their subsidies like a lion.
